awh, thanks so much! (*ﾉ▽ﾉ)
They’re called fireworks Inuyasha (´・ω・`)
You were the only one who ever treated me like I was a real person
i think it’s really really cute how you addressed us as “everyone” and not just one person (๑*╹౪╹)(╹౪╹*๑) - because we are two different people lol (so thank you for that ^^)
and of course we can! ^^ it dates back to about 9 years ago actually (wow.) i was 8 and my sister was 6, and like any ordinary children, we watched tv. a lot. we used to really like sailor moon, hamtaro, and pokemon too~ and luckily for us, they all played on ytv (a canadian channel exclusively for kids shows) and inuyasha also played during weeknights (around 10:00pm because y’know, its kinda violent for children lol) and one friday night, my sister and i were staying up (being little rebels y’know lol) and i flipped the channel to inuyasha and was really drawn into it ^^;; it was episode 62 or 63 - the part with tsubaki putting a curse on kagome yeah that one
and as a kid, i really liked the damsel in distress and the prince needed to save the princess type of thing, so when i watched it and the characters were talking about life and death and how inuyasha needed to save kagome quick or she would DIE you can imagine how hooked my childlike mind was on to this series.
and from there a new found love for inuyasha (in the both of us) appeared. we would even set timers every weeknight at 10:00 to 10:30 to record the episodes for us on VHS tapes so we could watch it later on. we ended up recording the entire series like that, with 10+ VHS tapes dedicated to nothing but inuyasha - and then from there, we grew up with the series ^^ our parents even bought us toy boomerangs and bows and arrows, plushies, figurines (which we still have btw) and we used to colour coordinate our clothing to match kagome and sango’s all the time lol
well, i’ve babbled enough lol but your next question: yes, we’ve cried during some episodes not as children (because we didn’t quite understand) but as teenagers, yes, definitely. when i first watched the final act and how amazingly they ended off the series, i cried because i was so happy ^^ - it took my childhood love for inuyasha and ended it in the most perfect way~ we truly couldn’t ask for a better anime to grow up with
